I was walking in Toorak Village earlier this week and saw this sign which made me smile!

It was of course Coco Chanel who said there was nothing more classy than a little black dress. Well had black Diamonds been around in those days I reckon she might have said the same about these timeless stones.

So thanks to those “fresh truffles” I was reminded of the lovely black Diamond pieces I have in my current collection.

My grain set bands are always so wearable (whites from $2,175.00, blacks from $1,875.00) while the black and white Diamond bangles I designed a few years ago I recently made again this time with hinges (from $5,650.00). And then I also found this lovely cushion cut stone which would look stunning as a ring for sure. It weighs 8.43carats and is priced at $6,800.00.

So even though it might be truffle season there is nothing quite like a black Diamond for all seasons and palettes
